Maple Hawaiian BBQ Meatballs

Quick! I need a covered dish recipe for a party! We have you covered.... These Maple Hawaiian BBQ Meatballs are excellent by themselves or served on a fresh sub roll for a sandwich. Made with zippy BBQ sauce, pure Brantview Farms Maple syrup and some sweet pineapple, these meatballs are flavorful and delicious. Prepare them ahead for a quick, easy dish to share.

 

Ingredients:

1 box or bag (3 lb) of frozen meatballs (or you can make your own)

2 cups BBQ sauce

2 cups pineapple (fresh or canned)

1 green pepper, diced

2 garlic cloves (cut each into 4 pieces)


Dozens of brown meatballs swim in a brown maple barbecue sauce with bits of green pepper and pineapple bits.

Directions:

Mix together BBQ sauce and maple syrup. Add pineapple, green pepper and garlic.

Pour half the sauce into a crock pot.

Add meatballs. Cover with remaining sauce.

Cook for 6 hours on low setting.

Serve as appetizer or with fresh hoagie rolls and cheese!
