Maple Marinated Steak

Updated: Apr 6, 2021

Pork paired with maple? Sure. Chicken? Ok. Steak? You bet! This sweet, zippy marinade leaves steaks juicy and tender. Made with pure Brantview Farms Maple syrup, this marinade is awesome for steaks on the grill or beef roasts. You may not think steak and maple are a great idea...don't be a skeptic any longer. Try these Maple Marinated Steaks for an unexpected treat.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 tsp dry mustard

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

steaks or chuck beef

A steak with sauce or glaze sizzles on black hot griddle surface.
Juicy marinated steaks sizzle on griddle.

Directions:

Trim any fat off of steaks. Marinate for 4 hours in sauce. Then grill or broil meat. Grill until internal temperature is met for desired preparation. If broiling, broil for 30-40 minutes, basting frequently.

Recipe from Northwestern PA Maple Syrup Producers Association, 1991

A grilled steak cut sits on a white plate, with a piece cut and ready to eat on a silver fork. Brown juices run onto white plate from the prepared meat.
