Barbara's Beans

What picnic is complete without the beans? This mixture of beans, pineapple and pure Brantview Farms Maple sugar is baked beans on a whole new level! And did we mention the cheese? Try this as your next dinner side or picnic covered dish and you will have requests for the recipe-guaranteed.

 

Ingredients:

1 pork 'n beans or baked beans (28 oz. can)

1 kidney beans (15.5 oz. can)

1 butter beans (15.5 oz. can)

1 black beans (15.5 oz. can)

1 can of pineapple chunks with 1/2 of juice

onion, chopped

1/4 lb cheddar cheese, cubed

1/2 cup ketchup 1 tsp dry mustard 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

*Any variety of beans can be used in this dish. The variety of beans offers a lot of color, making it a pretty side dish!

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees for about one hour.
