Ingredients:
3 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 to 3/4 cup Brantview Farms Maple Sugar Lumps
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
Heat oven to 325 degrees
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and shortening
Add maple sugar, sour cream, egg and vanilla - combine.
Finally, add maple sugar lumps Roll dough out on lightly floured surface to 1/4" thick, cut into shapes to bake.
Sprinkle white sugar on top of cookies prior to baking.
Bake 9-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
